"I suffer from acute anxiety and depression, and had lost my nerve for driving due to covid lockdowns and a road traffic accident that wasn't my fault. I badly needed to get behind the wheel again and so I saw Helen for four sessions. After the first I session I was so much more relaxed, and after the second the memory of the RTA had gone, I knew it had happened, but it really had gone from my memory. After the third session I felt up to getting in the car, and although my stress levels were sky high, i got behind the wheel and the stress just left and I really enjoyed driving. After the fourth I can now get in the car and just go, what a difference, I feel so calm and relaxed and that has made my mood lift significantly, I feel I have got the real me back again. Helen also gave me two recordings to listen to which are a great help, after listening to the first one I felt like I'd taken a diazepam but without the worry of becoming addicted.
